This fall is full of new movies based on some great children’s books! The first one to arrive was Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, which opened in theaters in September. On October 16, Where the Wild Things Are will arrive in local theaters. Right before Thanksgiving on November 13, Fantastic Mr. Fox will be hitting the screen.
If you haven’t read these books, you might want to check them out before you go see the movie with your family. I have all of them in our library. After you read the book and see the movie, let me know what you think about them. Did the movie producers stick to the main story in the book? Which one was your favorite? I saw Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs. It was way better than the book. I don’t want to see Where The Wild Things Are it dosen’t look good to me and the ratings are very low on the radio.

I saw Clody with a chance of Meatballs and it was a very cute movie! It was very interesting. I have read all of the books coming out and Fantastic Mr. Fox is by one of my favorite authors, Roald Dahl. I have read 11 of his books and his writing style is hilarious and heart warming. I wonder how he came up with those stories! Mtilda, James and The Giant Peach, they are all awesome!

THE MOVIE WRITER PRETTY MUCH STCK TO THE BOOK. WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE AND BOOK.I THOUGHT THAT WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE WAS A VERY DEEP MOVIE. WHEN THE MONSTER PULLED THE BIRDS ARM OFF MY BABY SISTER (SHE IS 3) SCREAMED REALLY LOUD. LIKE I THINK PG IS THE RIGHT RATING. I’ve already seen both Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and Where the Wild The Wild Things Are. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs didn’t stick to the topic the only thing that did was food fell from the sky and the title. Where the Wild Thngs did, I really liked it it was really deep, but I loved it.
