I don’t know about you, but coming up with bulletin board ideas is one of my least favorite activities. Leave it to the online community to come to the rescue. I just found this great site that has lots of bulletin board activities categorized by months, seasons, holidays, grades, subjects and themes. Back in October, I shared with you a time-saving blog that I use to get recipe ideas – Mommy Cooks. I have always been a menu planner, and I thought that maybe my obsessive menu planning could help others with this task. So, I decided to make my own recipe blog which I titled “What’s for Dinner?”.  I post my weekly dinner menu plan and the recipes I use, including photos (I’m a geek – what can I say?). I hope you find this blog useful, or at least maybe it will entertain you to know that I photograph my dinner each night. Either way – enjoy!

I know this blog is supposed to have my lit picks and tech tips, but I wanted to share a time management “trick” with you. I know that many of you are like me and have little time to think about normal things like keeping your house clean and cooking dinner. I found myself eating out too much because I could never think of what to cook for dinner, and by the time I actually got home at 5:30, I was way too exhausted to actually cook for my family. That was until I stumbled onto one of my now favorite blogs called Mommy Cooks. This wonderful lady posts her meal plans for the week each Monday, and throughout the week, she posts the most wonderful, easy-to-make recipes. I have tried many of them and have loved every one I tried. So, if you enjoy cooking, be sure to check out Mommy Cooks for some great family-friendly recipes and meal plan ideas. It is a fantastic resource for busy teachers. J
